About

NSS Olivet 2016 Concert with Name Label

The New Sarum Singers are a Salisbury based community choir who perform three times a year to raise money for local charities Originally formed in 1947 the New Sarum Singers are an ensemble of around 40 voices and have always performed in local Salisbury churches and halls in aid of charity.

We have soprano, alto, tenor and bass sections that allows the choir to give performances of a wide range of musical styles. Sometimes we even surprise ourselves!

The choir enjoys the dynamic and insightful musical direction of Keith Thomasson  whose vision is to bring out the very best in the choir’s voices and produce amazing music.

We rehearse most Monday evenings at Bemerton Methodist Church:

Bemerton Methodist Church, Roman Road, Salisbury, SP2 9BH

FREE parking is available in the road or in the Church car park and free refreshments (tea, coffee, fruit juice and water) are available during the rehearsal break-time.

New members are very welcome. Please refer to the CONTACT US page for more details.

The New Sarum Singers’ members love to sing so a passion for music and singing is what counts with us. The choir is open to any adult who loves to sing is always welcome to try us out at one of our rehearsal evenings (see Rehearsals Calendar in the HOME page for details of our rehearsal schedule). No audition or voice test required. Enthusiasm is all that is needed.

There is an annual subscription charge payable in January of each year (see Contact Us page for details) to cover the Choir’s running costs.
